Greetings to all of the steemians ( I hope I said it well :P) out there. It is a pleasure to me to be part of this great community that I discovered not so while ago. My friend, , told me about this site and the opportunities that one can have over there. I hope to discover awesome things over here and to have an amazing experience !!
A little bit about Myself:
My name is Egidio Colaianni, I'm 19 years old and I'm from Venezuela. I'm studying my second year of Chemical Engineering at Universidad Simón Bolivar. I am a delegate at the LAtin American Model of United Nations of Universidad Simón Bolivar, also known as USB-LAMUN. I love to play the guitar, listen to some heavy metal, swimming and learn languages. I'm currently learning German, and I already speak Spanish, English, and Italian. One of my personal goals in life is to learn as many languages as I can.
Why did I put "Our" in the title?:
The mayor reason I want to get into the steemit community is for letting you know about one of the greatest thing in my life, USB-LAMUN
USB-LAMUN is the Delegation of the Latin American Model of the United Nations of my university. We attend to Model of united nations, where we simulate sessions and committees of the UN, where we create solutions to everyday problems of the whole world. We basically get a problematic, for example, the illegal selling of weapons worldwide, then each one of us gets a country o representation to represent (No way Sherlock haha), and we express our pont of view of the problematic, beign the main objective of the day the outcome of a creative and applicable solution for the problematic along with the other countries.
Every year, USB-LAMUN goes to MONUA, the Model of United Nations of Universidad de Los Andes, in Bogotá, where we attend to the competition along with many others delegations from South, Central and North America.
Why do I expect to do in Steemit?:
Basically, I want to talk about the Model of United NAtions, and about USB-LAMUN, since it has been a great experience in my life, and I feel I need to share some of that experience. I'll be writing about what do we do, our dynamics, our every week preparation, the competitions we attend, and so on. Also, I'll share some of the other things I like to do, like playing Iron MAiden in my guitar (But I'm warning you, I'm not that good haha). I also expect to get as many feedbacks as I can from you guys and at the same time, share with you.
I'm willing to keep in touch with you guys, I'll be back soon to write about the MUN experience !!. (Also, if you think I should write in Spanish aswell, let me now :D)
