Let’s get to it...
Needlework Monday - Bilateral necklace "Autumn Waltz". Tutorial. Handmade from @elenka by
I had the pleasure of welcoming to the
community a month ago! She has been dazzling us with her skills of making these beautiful handmade jewelry pieces. Her photos and tutorials are vibrant and clear and it is very intriguing seeing how she puts these sets together. If you’ve ever wondered how to make jewelry using polymer clay you’ll definitely want to catch these tutorials. The vivid rich colors and the added details of this Autumn necklace quickly got my attention!
#needleworkmonday Crochet Blanket and Snuggly Bulldogs... by
Who could resist a face like this? This beautiful bullie is all wrapped and snuggled in this blanket currently being worked on by ! It goes to show that not only us humans fall in love with handmade creations but our pets do too. I’m not sure if she’ll get to finish this one, it doesn’t look like Fiddy will be moving anytime soon. 😄
Come check inside for more details of this gorgeous blanket!
Crochet Scallop Edged Denim Shorts | My Actifit Report Card: February 4 2019 by
Summertime will be here before we know it and it’ll be time to grab out those shorts. decided to give this pair a second chance by giving it an upgrade. She did it so lovely and it really livened up the look. What a great way to add color and style by hand. The possibilities with needlework are endless :)
Knitted Knockers Indonesia by
Trust me, when I first heard the words knitted knockers I had no idea what they were either. enlightened us this week about a wonderful cause that many knitters are volunteering their work to. These knitted knockers are a more affordable and comfortable alternative to prosthetics used by women who have undergone procedures to the breast. It touched my heart to know that these knockers are available for FREE to any woman that needs them. More details inside!
My fourth crochet project: Amigurumi Han Solo by
For the last few weeks has been adding on to his collection from the Star Wars crochet kit he received for his birthday. He has taken us along the journey as he learns more about crocheting techniques and the way things work when needling. I like how he shares the kinks he runs into as well as enlightening moments when things start to make better since. The more we practice a craft the better we become at it! It’s been fun watching these Star Wars characters come to life!
Needlework Monday – The skirt is saved by
One thing you will learn from reading ’s posts is how “not” to throw out a good garment. She has taught us many ways to mend, upgrade, upcycle, revive, save and how to fall in love with your favorite pieces all over again. In this post she shares a clever way of how to cover up a stain on your garment using crochet. No need to throw out anything when you have needlework skills ;D
Now are you ready to give handiwork a try? 😃
