NewsCatchr is an app, that tries to improve the world by enabling access to news for everyone. The app is available for Android 4.2+ and very small and resource-friendly. It's also completely open sourced, so the code can be checked by everyone.
Proposal
This suggestion is followed up by three important features that can be added to this app, the features are stated below.
- Notifications
- Local
- Live TV
First I will show you how the app looks like and what features are available with the help of an image.
Now the features that can be added are explained below.
- Notifications This feature will help us to get notified about the various happenings around the world with the help of notifications. Then we can move to the story by clicking on the notifications.
- Local This feature is needed for news feed related to local i.e, news related to specific regions. We can get news about our regions by hitting this feature.
- Live TV This feature will let us get live TV transmission from various channels. For example, CNN, Zee etc.

Talking about the benefits of the features
- Notifications will help us to get notified about the various sectors and happenings all across the world, for quick access we can simply click on the notifications and move to the feed.
- Local is an important feature to get us news about the regional places we want to, We can get the feed related to the native places or places we are connected to or places we are planning to travel to.
- Live TV is a feature which should be added for live transmission of channels all across the world. It can give us access to any channel anywhere and it will be Live too. This is the most Important feature.
