The Resident Evil Movies

I have always enjoyed the Resident Evil movies. I have given several of the games a try, but I could never get into them. 

What I really love about the movies though, is that they truly embody style over substance. While they do have some plot and character development, they are firmly kept in the background, with just enough of them to string together the visuals and action scenes. The fact that they do so unapologetically is what makes them such a pleasure to watch.

So, here I will mention the movies. I was planning to write more details about them, but honestly, I cannot remember any of the plots.

Resident Evil

Resident Evil: Apocalypse

Resident Evil: Extinction

Resident Evil: Afterlife

Resident Evil: Retribution

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter 

This is coming out soon, and will be the last movie in the franchise (at least until the inevitable reboot)
