London never ceases to amaze me. After a day at work I had a stroll with my colleague in the area around Cannon Street. In just under an hour you get to see the St. Pauls Cathedral, Millennium Bridge, Tate Modern, Thames river, the Globe theater and in the distance the London Eye, Tower Bridge and the Shard, which in my eyes became a landmark.
There are plenty of restaurants around where you can eat food from around the world or cafés where you can grab a sandwich or a hot snack to go. These usually get quite busy during lunch time with all of the business people.
What I also noticed during this trip, while sipping on my latte and eating my porridge for breakfast in my favorite chain coffee, is that many of the Londoners have moved to using reusable cups for their morning to go coffee. I think this is a great step towards a sustainable future and should also become more common in the other economic hubs around the world.
