The Exercise I'm Performing in this video is called "Bent Over Rows". They're supposed to build a wide thick back, but a lot of people complain that they don't feel their back muscles working when they're doing it, they only feel their forearms and biceps working.
That's because there's a trick to this workout. When bent over with the weight in your hand your shoulders need to be retracted and your chest out to some extent, that's how to get the back involved more.
Secondly you should also try to involve your back through your mind's eyes. Imagine it and make the choice to use your back for the work. A little wishy washy, but it works 😃.
