Head To The Chrome Web Store And Download Metamask

We are going to create a new wallet, so press that button.
Decide if you want to share data with metamask or not. I personally don't. For that I press no thanks.
Create a password. Remember this since you'll need it to unlock your wallet when you want to interact with it. I don't recommend reusing passwords you use elsewhere. Then press create.
THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART!!!! You get a private backup phrase. EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED TO THIS. Do not share this with anyone. Write it down ON PAPER and store that somewhere safe. Then write it down again and store it somewhere even safer. If you lose this, you lose it all. Unlike banks who can help recover funds, in crypto there is no turning back if things get lost. Once you have it saved, press next.
You will have to type in the seed phrase given in the last page. Input the words in the correct order and press confirm.
Your metamask is setup at that point. Press all done to be done.
You'll be greeted by a screen like below:
To get your address, press on "account 1". It will copy your address to the clipboard. Paste it somewhere, and make sure the parts that you can see matches with the little that is displayed below the Account 1. Once you do that, you will have metamask setup and your address.
