For my morning activity, I tried for an unnamed single track in Strickland State Forrest. Maybe not the wisest idea, but I was happy just to double straight back the way I came if I felt it was beyond my capabilities. I had seen the trial on my strava file, but finding it in real life was a bit harder than I thought. Luckily, there was an old lady in her front yard who pointed out the overgrown entrance up into Forrest for me. otherwise, I would have completely missed it
.
I only made it about one kilometre in before turning back, I was not out for a big hike, just some morning exercise and mosquitoes, leachs and lack or trail marker had me opting for the most cautious option.
Still, some good exploring and adventuring was had.
Next up, it was a trip to the hardware store, and I helped build and set up a castle. A chicken coop castle kit.
The instructions were a small print single side A4 Page. Luckily, when we opened and spread it all out, it went together pretty easily with a few basic hand tools.
