I enjoy experimenting here as I feel that the community often engages well with ideas and embraces trying new things. I think that is part of what makes Steem unique as what began as only blogging platform has transformed and evolved to not only much more but also has the potential to continue to expand and broaden into more technology than can disrupt many industries. I was hesitant to post while on such a long vacation as photos and thoughts are not what I have typically done here and I was unsure how those that follow me would take it. However, it made me realize that despite communities having subsets as we grow, we are still one Steem community and support does not falter that easily.
I am very grateful for that and as promised, I am making my best effort at giving it all back to those that embraced my experiment and engaged with me on those posts! I had 12 posts despite my 11 city visits as the Cruise itself deserved one. Those 12 posts generated $21.92 of payouts for me, the author. Since I am giving SBI away for these payouts which cost 1 Steem each, I am estimating that the average price of Steem has been around $0.40 for that period which makes the SBI pool around 55.

In these posts, I received 74 non-bot (to the best of my knowledge) comments that I engaged with during my vacation. This was the little engagement I did do during the trip so I appreciated the time taken to do so as it made me feel I was staying connected some way. I divided these comments by account and they took the percentage of the total to distribute the pool of SBI. I also rounded to the highest digit for the benefit of the doubt which made the pool grow to 60!

As I returned, I sought out some feedback from the community on some news and current events around Steem and cryptocurrencies in general. Both 
There is still plenty of catching up to do and as Hard Fork 21 approaches, we will continue to find ways we need to adapt to continually add value to the ecosystem which is my main goal. While I do not have a great idea on the impacts the change will have on me, I feel that there are still mainly financial which while important, continue to be secondary to what we really need to see from Steem, more engagement and community building to expand and leverage the technology in our hands for the future of the ecosystem and its capabilities. I look forward to continuing this journey with all of you!
