After today's local elections in Kraków the unofficial results are in. The outcome is more or less as expected, with a slightly higher percentage for the top two candidates than in the polls. That means there will be a run-off election on Sunday, November 4, between Jacek Majchrowski and Małgorzata Wassermann.
Wassermann is spinning this as a majority for change:
The long hashtag is her main slogan, which means "new president, more possibilities".

For Poland as a whole, Radio Poland is reporting that the conservatives are winning. It's not a neutral source, but PiS is indeed doing relatively well in the regional assemblies. On the other hand, they didn't get a second round in Warsaw, where they had a better candidate than the Civic Platform.
