So to start I have added STEEM to the value of just over $300 to my account which is the last deposit that I will make. This is for the simple fact that money makes money, (Also I believe in steemit and want to have a share in what is happening). I already had value on my account but the $147.23 to $3000 challenge just doesn't have the same ring to it.
I was trying to get as near to $300 as possible but the jump in STEEM pushed me a bit over. ( I'll allow it to slide this time)
For this I am going with a two prong attack.
Firstly:
Half of my steem power (140.903 STEEM) will be delegated to minnowbooster giving me a daily return of between 0.036 and 0.080 SBD averaging at 0.058 SBD per day or 0.406 per week. Small amounts I know but every little bit adds up and increases the next amount you get.
I spend 48 hours a week in my regular work not including travel and preperation so when I do get home the tendency is to just have dinner and crash. My days off had been fully taken up with renovating the house that I moved into in May. Thankfully most of that work is completed and with the winter setting in I will have a lot more time to spend online and writing, (which I have always had a passion for since a young lad). Therefore it is important for me to still be gaining value even when I am too busy to spend the time required to add value.
Secondly:
With half of my SP in use the other half is for me to actively insert myself onto the Steemit platform. Since joining in August I have put up a few random posts but nothing of huge value or anything consistent. Which is what I am hoping to change with this challenge and see if there will be any gain from it. To date I have created 17 post on various topics with a total value of about $5 not including returns from minnowbooster or randowwhale which added a few more dollars. My aim is to post at least twice a week from now on, to include the topics that interest me as well as how my challenge is progressing.
What I have found most beneficial is from browsing through other peoples posts and commenting or following the best of those. Through Steemit I have found some very interesting people who are truly passionate about what they do. The lack of censorship means that people have the freedom here, to truly write about their passions. I love to find unique people to follow and support through my actions. I am going to spend as much time as I can finding these people in the hidden depths of Steemit and push them as much as I have the power to do.
Taking the 8th November as my starting point, I have 17 posts, 159 followers, and 320 posts. The plan is to grow everything together with the value as my base point.
Hopefully I can meet many more brilliant people on here as I work away.
Thank you.
