6 Days in to my project, unfortunately my total value is now less than when I started but that doesn't worry me in the slightest. When I made my original post about my goals the price of steemit was sitting on a much healthier $1.03. As you can see in the chart below that has dropped to a much uglier $0.89 as the present time.
Why doesn't this worry me?
It doesn't worry me because the account value is only a marker of my progress not the target. It is a timeline for my growth and expansion on the platform and a way to know when I have made a distinctive impact here. What I do care about are the ten new people who have decided to follow me on the platform. Ten people who thought that this might lead somewhere interesting. Hopefully I can give them something worth following.
If I can get to the end of my challenge within the next year I would be fairly happy to be honest.
What I also like is the steem power that I leased from minnow booster. It's nice to see the effect that your vote has when you cast it rather than the total staying the same. While $0.03 might not seem like much I love seeing it appear when I vote.
