I began collecting my first Steem rewards, thinking to convert them back to USD, I checked the value of Steem and it had a nice .20 cents appreciation over the USD. Then I went to check the history of Steem, and noticed that at some point last year it was around 4 USD per Steem.
What causes the value of Steem to increase and what can I do as best practices to insure its steady climb as a cryptocurrency?
