Hi Lovelies, hope your weekend is going well!?
Yesterday we learned how to tone our abs, today, we are going to learn how to tone the muscles in our arms especially the biceps and triceps.
The muscles in our upper arms, biceps in front and triceps behind are very important they carry lots of load are very active.
Stretching and toning them is very important as it makes them stronger and prevents muscle cramps.
They also help us to gain upper body strength etc...
The following poses will help tone them
- Low Plank
Low plank is a very igniting pose that targets these muscles by contracting the biceps and relaxing the triceps.
2.High Plank
Works in the opposite direction of low plank by contracting the triceps and relaxing the biceps.
They are supposed to be practiced together for effective result.
3.Side Plank
Works by stretching the upper arm muscles down to the forearm muscles, it engages all the joints around the arm.
It should be practiced for both sides.
4.Low Plank With One Foot Lifted
This is more engaging as the muscles now carry more load and gives the muscles a burning effect.
Also, practice for both feets, changing one after the other.
5.Three Legged flip Dog
Just like the previous one, this pose stretches and tones the muscles at thesame time, it also engages other parts of the body especially the stomach, calves, hamstrings and Quadriceps..
Tone those muscles, don't allow them to look like a chunk of meat with these simple routines!
