Monday Red Color Challenge Entry
This is a picture from last week, just after Orthodox Christmas celebration. After holidays and heavy food I tried to drink lots more water and have a healthier breakfast.
For this specific oatmeal combination I put some chia seeds into the bowl and covered them with rice milk so they can soak nicely while I prepare the other ingredients. I mixed some oatmeal with water, prepared flax seeds, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds and finally I pealed half of pomegranate.
That was my second time trying but my first time pealing a pomegranate so it took me so long and it was quite messy. When I was finally done, I added oatmeal to chia seeds and put some coconut protein, mixed it well and sprinkled the combination of seeds and on top of that I added pomegranate.
It felt so good to have a delicious, healthy and filling breakfast after a few days of stuffing my face with heavy foods and sweets.
