Group dropouts of students, hippies, drunks and drug addicts with texts written in the condition they fell at the time of America at the time and became a cult. The band became a classic of psychedelic rock and roll and performed successfully until their singer – songwriter Jim Morrison died in Paris in 1971. Death came either from a heart attack, or from an overdose, or from a combination of these reasons. His girlfriend, with whom he was, has moved likewise through three years. To speak without Jim, the group failed to find a replacement – and also the band broke up.
With respect for their creativity, I can't help but notice that musically they are so-so. They remind me of our very musically overrated band "Kino" - monotonous , slightly boring songs without any musical frills, almost-faceless accompaniment to the leader of the band with his songs.
