Hoy les traigo una iniciativa que busca enaltecer el valor de nuestro pasado artístico.
Hello again friends of Hive!Today I bring you an initiative that seeks to enhance the value of our past in the arts.
Muchos de nosotros nos avergonzamos de los dibujos, cuentos, poemas o canciones que hacíamos antes, cuando estábamos aprendiendo, cuando no éramos muy buenos.
Many of us are ashamed of the drawings, stories, poems or songs we did before, when we were learning, when we were not very good.
Pero lo cierto es que nadie nace siendo experto en nada, todo gran artista pasa por un proceso de aprendizaje, y ese proceso es tan bonito e importante como los resultados mejor logrados que podemos tener en la actualidad.
But the truth is that no one is born an expert in anything, every great artist goes through a learning process, and that process is as beautiful and important as the best results we can currently achieve.
En esta iniciativa se puede mostrar cualquier creación artística que sea de alguna edad previa a la que tienes ahora. Desde las de tu niñez hasta las del año pasado.
In this initiative you can show any artistic creation that is of any age prior to the one you have now. From those of your childhood to those of last year.

How to participate
No hay muchos requisitos para participar.
Simplemente especifica en el título qué tipo de arte vas a mostrar y qué edad tenías cuando la hiciste.
Por favor etiquétame (
Puedes participar en la misma iniciativa cuantas veces quieras, con los distintos tipos de arte o las distintas edades. Es divertido apreciar el progreso!

"La energía solar" (Parte 1)
Este dibujo es parte un tríptico sobre los beneficios de la energía solar y cómo aprovecharla.
"Solar Energy" (Part 1)
This drawing is part of a trifold brochure about the benefits of solar energy and how to take advantage of it.
"La Energía Solar" (Parte 2)
Se le ve muy feliz a esa chica, ya quisiera estar yo en este momento tomando el sol en traje de baño! 😁
"Solar Energy" (Part 2)
That girl looks very happy, I wish I was sunbathing in a swimsuit right now! 😁
"Día del padre"
Una familia tradicional y feliz. Recuerden que esto fue en el año 2002, y había muy poca diversidad para el concepto de familia en ese entonces.
"Father's day"
A traditional and happy family. Remember, this was in 2002, and there was very little diversity for the concept of family back then.
"Derechos del niño"
Porsi no se entiende, el niño del árbol está leyendo, y la niña lleva en la mano un globo y una barbie. Yo amaba el rosa y las barbies, perdón por ser tan típica 🤣
"Children's rights"
In case you don't understand, the boy in the tree is reading, and the girl is holding a balloon and a barbie. I loved pink and barbies, sorry for being so typical. 🤣
"Día del educador"
Probablemente me dio flojera dibujar los pupitres 😆
"Teachers' day"
I was probably too lazy to draw the desks.😆
"Día del ambiente"
En donde yo vivía cuando era niña hay una cascada real, y árboles con hojas rojas muy hermosos. La próxima vez que vaya intentaré tomarles una foto para ustedes.
"Environment Day"
Where I lived when I was a child there is a real waterfall, and very beautiful red-leafed trees. Next time I go there I will try to take a picture of them for you.
"Batalla de San Félix"
Este es de mis favoritos, jajaja, miren la expresión de ira en los personajes, están súper molestos.
Se supone que es un "patriota" contra un "realista", los dos bandos enemigos principales de la historia de Independencia de Venezuela. Esta batalla se llevó a cabo en una montaña, así que eso es lo que ven allí detrás.
"San Félix Battle"
This is one of my favorites, hahaha, look at the angry expression on the characters, they are super annoyed.It's supposed to be a "patriot" against a "realist", the two main enemy sides of the Venezuelan Independence history. This battle took place on a mountain, so that's what you see back there.
"Abajo la dictadura"
Probablemente hice este dibujo para la conmemoración del "Caracazo", una serie de protestas ocurridas en 1989 contra las crueles medidas económicas del gobierno. Ahorita nuevamente necesitamos tumbar a la dictadura en mi país.
"Down with the dictatorship"
I probably did this drawing for the commemoration of the "Caracazo", a series of protests in 1989 against the government's cruel economic measures. Now again we need to overthrow the dictatorship in my country.
"Organización de las Naciones Unidas. Unidos por la Paz"
Parece que me daba flojera utilizar otro crayón distinto para la piel (perdón), pero juro que hice mi mejor esfuerzo para dibujar la diversidad racial!
Hay una niña asiática, un niño campesino, una niña árabe, un niño indio, incluso una que parece de holanda.
"United Nations. United for Peace"
It seems I was lazy to use a different crayon for the skin (sorry), but I swear I did my best to draw racial diversity!
There's an Asian girl, a peasant boy, an Arab girl, an Indian boy, even one who looks like she's from Holland.

Para finalizar les muestro esta pintura de paisaje que ganó en un concurso de dibujo infantil en mi país y lo pusieron en una exposición de un museo :D

This is the flyer of the exhibition, with my drawing! I don't have the original painting, the organizers of the contest kept it. :(
Here are a couple of details:
La aplicación de la témpera no quedó muy perfecta porque estábamos pintando a contrarreloj en el salón de clases!
The application of the watercolor was not very perfect because we were painting against the clock in the classroom!
Allí dice: Niobe Rojas (femenino), 9 años. "El Parque Natural" (El nombre que yo le puse a mi pintura)
There it says: Niobe Rojas (female), 9 years old. " The Natural Park" (The name I gave to my painting).

Foto con mi pintura expuesta en el museo, y el libro que tengo en la mano fue mi premio. Según mi mamá, fue un premio muy pobre, jajaja.
Photo with my painting exhibited in the museum, and the book I have in my hands was my prize. According to my mom, it was a very poor prize, hahaha.
Espero que se hayan divertido viendo mis dibujos viejos! Ojalá alguien más se anime a esta iniciativa, para llenar Hive de nuestro valioso arte de antes.
