I used to be very disorganized when it came to savings until I joined the Saturday Savers Club in Hive last year. There's nothing like joining folks with like minds to move together with the intention of arriving at a desired destination. It's a fresh start for me with new goals, and I am glad to journey along with SSC from the beginning of the year, unlike last year when I joined in the last quarter of the year. Although I joined in the last quarter, the experience was exceptional š A lot changed about my saving and spending culture, and this is why I didn't hesitate to join this initiative again in 2024. A community that encourages everyone to share their progress report and track their goals. A community that encourages others with their set goals is what I have observed about SSC, and the motivation to keep going with my goals has been there.
Last year, I had my major reason for joining Saturday Savers, and that action of defining my purpose gave me the push to keep going and even surpassed the goal. I had my primary goal of saving some HBD for my kids school fees. Each time I want to spend, that hbd savings rings into my brain like a standby reminder. It looked like one magical thing.,Hahaha, I couldn't just place it, but I love the fact that the urge to save and reach my goal was there.
So this year, I will be saving for an emergency fund. As I set my plans and remain positive with my goals, something could come up urgently that needs financial attention, so to be ready for an unexpected emergency fund, I will be saving 5 HBD every Saturday, and any week I have more than that, I will save more. Overall, I plan to save 280 HBD at the end of the year.
As for my HP, currently I have 6k hp, and I plan to keep powering up from time to time together with my post-reward and, hopefully, at the end of the year, achieve a total of 10k HP.
So these are my primary goals, whereas Leo tokens are my secondary goal, and for every LPUd, I will power up 150 Leo tokens. Hopefully, I will get 4,000 Leo stakes at the end of the year.

I am really keeping my goals simple, without pressure or feeling overwhelmed. Hopefully, I will smile at my accomplishments come December 2024.
