HAPPY WEEKEND FRIENDS AND WELCOME BACK TO MY BLOG!
It was my twin brother's white wedding in the church and I am perplexed about how everything went so smoothly beyond our expectations. Let me just say that some people carry extra grace honestly 😊 and my twin brother happens to be among them.
The traditional marriage was held two weeks ago and I was very much available to cheer them up💖🥰
After the traditional marriage ceremony, the white wedding plans continued, it was 8 days gap between the two ceremonies held in my town in Enugu state Nigeria. Many people value traditional marriage so much and in some cases feel a white wedding isn't much important. According to our culture, once you have paid your dowry for a bride 👰, you have fulfilled the marital rites and are free to live with your wife, however, Christiana deems it fit, to also seal their marriage through the church (Holy matrimony). Some choose to do a court wedding too, all is fine depending on your choice and your faith but the most sensitive part in my culture is the payment of dowry traditionally.
Before D-Day for the white wedding ceremony, a lot of issues were springing up and my twin brother was like, now he believes the saying that wedding attracts some degrees of temptation 🤣🤣. But then, it might just be a coincidence but I am glad that the situation was handled almost immediately through prayers. As if that was enough, my first son I left behind in Lagos State where I reside had some health challenge that requires my attention, so I had to quickly return to Lagos to attend to my son health and so I had no option but to join the ever awaited white wedding virtually.
I became too emotional at this point hearing the reign of prayers by my mom to the couple. My mother is a prayer warrior any day any time and I was not surprised she prayed this much to them while giving them her motherly blessings
The church section was over and I refused to go offline because I wanted not to be told 🤩🥳
My amiable bride was so happy all through because this has been what she wanted all these years of their courtship. It was her dream come true 🤗🤗. Even when my twin brother wanted to shift the wedding till Christmas time, she was practically begging me to talk to my twin brother not to attempt it because she can't wait to be all over him🤩🤩🤩🤩, the love is top notch and I wish them well🥰🥰

The part I nearly bite my phone was the reception 🤦🤣, at this stage, I was like "Nkem" is it possible this chicken can be waybill to Lagos State within a second? 😄😄😄 This chicken cannot just pass me by just like that🤩, but it's fine!
Wow! The white wedding was lit just like traditional marriage and I am so thrilled by the whole event.
