In some lands, it is viewed that when one of the family members is wealthy he or she MUST carry all the problems "Responsibilities" in the family and such a person MUST help every member of the family.
Behind The Scene is a story of a successful real estate entrepreneur and widow Aderonke "Ronke" Faniran, also a mother of two (Tife and Tola), with her Elder Adetutu, young brother Adewale (His wife Segilola), her friends Mariam, Wendy and her bestie & Lawyer Victor.
Ronke is her family’s financial backbone she is selfless and generous that she put everyone else’s needs above her own. She funded her siblings’ education, supports her father and nieces.
Aderonke supported her sister Adetutu who was so loud, manipulative, and dependent. Years earlier, Ronke deferred her own education so Adetutu could attend school, only for Adetutu to get pregnant and abandon it, leaving Ronke to carry the responsibilities. Aderonke always gives Adetutu money for her business and twins school fees.
Adetutu squandered the money meant for her twins Taiwo and Kehinde school fees at her bestie party Alero and was arrested by FCTF for abuse and mutilation of national currency.
Her brother Adewale, is also exploitative. He takes advantage of Ronke's generosity to extort money from her. Adewale always squanders the money at the clubhouse. Ronke given Adewale money more than 4 times for his business (content creator) yet he squandered it. Adewale' wife Segilola who begged for everything equally uses her son Diola to extort money from Ronke. Yet she is willing to give.
Ronke even covered salaries for employees at a friend’s struggling company (Mariam) who always wants to be like Ronke. To the extent Mariam arranged with the local people to extort money from Ronke by placing died bodies in one of her site which cost Aderonke a lot of money (N220 million).
As Ronke extends her generosity to family members, friends, employees, and even strangers, the stress begins to accumulate. She gradually realizes that those she has supported may not reciprocate the same loyalty. A personal tragedy (when she was diagnosed with lupus) makes her confront the emotional and financial act of her selflessness. This crucial moment triggers a long-overdue judgement that changes how she sees the people around her.
Ronke faked her death with her bestie Victor and his wife. She placed CCTV in all corners of her house. With her bestie Victor and his wife she was able to accomplish her plains.
It was then she realized that her sister Adetutu was only after her wealth. While her brother Adewale realizes how important his sister is to the family vow to look after his sister's children and to protect their mothers wealth for them. And her friends Wendy and Mariam do not care about their friends children.
Johnson her cook and children's nanny Oluchi never for once forgot their boss children. She was able to know those who truly appreciate her generosity, and willing to look after her children when she is no more.
