A good and true disciples is someone who respects God and is always ready to do what God wants us to do. It involves a sincere commitment to obey His teachings, live a life of love, humility, and righteousness, and reflect His character in every situation. True discipleship is not about outward appearance or religious routine, but an inward transformation where one’s heart, thoughts, and actions align with the will of God. Such a person seeks to grow spiritually, turning away from sin and striving to live a life that pleases God.
Becoming a true disciples is putting Jesus Christ first in everything you do and making sure you follow all his commandments even when it seems to be difficult. This includes loving others genuinely, forgiving freely, and serving selflessly, even when it is difficult. A disciple remains faithful during trials, trusting God in all circumstances, and boldly sharing the message of Christ with others.
As Jesus said, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me” (Luke 9:23).
