As you may know, I recently moved to Montecatini Terme and I still have a lot to explore, including my new city, which is divided into Montecatini Terme and Montecatini center, which is a bit far from me. Anyway, today I set my smartwatch to walking mode and started walking around the area. I've gained a lot of weight lately due to stress, medication, and everything else, so I really need to walk and get some relief. Anyway, on my walk, I came across several interesting places. I started by walking down a long avenue near my house, lined with charming little houses and buildings, and offering a beautiful view of the city's outskirts. After all, I now live on the outskirts, which is a new world for me, accustomed to living in small mountain and hill towns. Anyway, walking down this avenue, in addition to the little houses, I also found some abandoned houses (a shame because they looked beautiful) with some graffiti, which I obviously photographed because I love graffiti and murals.

En fin, mientras caminaba por esta avenida, además de las casitas, también encontré algunas casas abandonadas (una pena porque eran preciosas) con algunos grafitis, que obviamente fotografié porque me encantan los grafitis y los murales.
As I continued, I noticed that there's a lot to explore. There are lots of streets and alleys, although I continued straight on because I didn't want to get lost since I had to go home for lunch. When I have more time, I'll definitely start wandering around. The houses here are very similar to those in the Pistoia area, all close together, with light colors. I also noticed with regret that there are many abandoned hotels. Unfortunately, Montecatini Terme was once a major tourist destination, but today tourism is scarce, and if there are any tourists, they are just passing through. However, the hotels, even if abandoned, are still fascinating. It would be nice to be able to visit them from the inside. There are also several very beautiful buildings. Overall, it was a very pleasant walk, and next Wednesday I think I'll return to explore other parts of the outskirts.
Mientras seguía caminando, me di cuenta de que hay mucho por explorar. Hay muchas calles y callejones, aunque seguí recto porque no quería perderme, ya que tenía que volver a casa para almorzar. Cuando tenga más tiempo, sin duda empezaré a pasear. Las casas aquí son muy parecidas a las de la zona de Pistoia, todas muy juntas y de colores claros. También noté con pesar que hay muchos hoteles abandonados. Desafortunadamente, Montecatini Terme fue en su día un importante destino turístico, pero hoy en día el turismo es escaso, y si hay algún turista, solo está de paso.
