Today I returned to Pistoia in the morning, luckily I went in the morning because this afternoon there was a big storm. I went to Pistoia to run some errands and I stopped in Pistoia Sud, where I sometimes go to buy some things for my husband and go to my doctor, who is in that area. Luckily, I always like Pistoia a lot, and it's always a pleasure to walk around the city. I should walk a lot more, I confess, but unfortunately, between depression and anxiety, sometimes I get really stuck and become too sedentary, which isn't good, especially because taking medication and eating a lot makes me tend to gain weight easily. Anyway, it was a pleasant walk. First I passed one of the city's tree-lined streets, which fortunately has many (if you follow my blog, you'll know I have a weakness for tree-lined streets), with its beautiful, small, well-kept terraced houses in soft colors. It's a charming and simple avenue, perfect for a walk.
Buenas tardes, amigos del blog, ¿cómo están? Aquí estoy de nuevo con mi paseo del miércoles. Hoy regresé a Pistoia por la mañana, por suerte fui temprano porque esta tarde hubo una gran tormenta. Fui a Pistoia para hacer algunos recados y me detuve en Pistoia Sud, donde a veces voy a comprar algunas cosas para mi esposo y a mi médico, que está en esa zona. Por suerte, siempre me gusta mucho Pistoia, y siempre es un placer pasear por la ciudad. Debería caminar mucho más, lo confieso, pero desafortunadamente, entre la depresión y la ansiedad, a veces me quedo realmente estancada y me vuelvo demasiado sedentaria, lo cual no es bueno, especialmente porque tomar medicamentos y comer mucho me hace tender a subir de peso fácilmente. En fin, fue un paseo agradable. Primero pasé por una de las calles arboladas de la ciudad, que afortunadamente tiene muchas (si siguen mi blog, sabrán que tengo debilidad por las calles arboladas), con sus hermosas, pequeñas y bien cuidadas casas adosadas en colores suaves. Es una avenida encantadora y sencilla, perfecta para dar un paseo.
Then I decided to extend the walk a bit since I had to wait for the shops to open, so I headed towards a more rural area, near some garden centres. It's a very beautiful area, like all the countryside around Pistoia and its surroundings. I had to run through it a bit because, unfortunately, I didn't have much time, and I'd seen the forecast predicting rain, so I didn't want to get all wet! Finally, I took another beautiful city avenue, also lined with traditional, simple houses, and then I reached my destination. I took some photos of the surroundings, especially of one side of the city from above, with houses and buildings and the sky slowly clouding over, a beautiful view of the city. Entonces decidí alargar un poco el paseo, ya que tenía que esperar a que abrieran las tiendas, así que me dirigí hacia una zona más rural, cerca de algunos viveros. Es una zona preciosa, como todo el campo que rodea Pistoia y sus alrededores.
