I read a few introductions here on Steemit and I realized I have to be more clear in my description.
So, as I said, I am working in the art field, I am 35, almost 36 and I live in Romania. I am half Romanian and half Syrian. The picture below is made in Zaatari refugee camp in July this year. A story that I will soon tell.

Although I find there are a lot of Romanians around Steemit I'd rather post in English as I want to reach an international audience. There are lots of things that I like about this platform and the fact that it financially rewards good content is something that makes me want to switch from Facebook here.
I have been an artist since I know myself. Probably when I was three years old I decided to become an artist. Yet, most of my work I am doing around art, as a cultural manager. I have a very long experience in managing artistic projects. Since 2009 I am running a cultural organization in Romania called The Association for Contemporary Art Promotion. Through this association we are organizing Bucharest Art Week since 2014. I had the chance to work with very many Romanian and foreign professional artists and I feel like I have so much to say about them, about us, and about me and our art. Starting last year, in 2016 we opened ARTHUB Carol 61, a cultural and artistic art center in the middle of Bucharest with a surface of almost 1000 sqm. Here we are running 14 art studios for artists, a performance studio for rehearsal and small shows, and three lunge and art spaces to be used in common. We are working the hell out to keep this space alive in Bucharest, despite lack of support from authorities. Right now more than 20 artists work in ARTHUB. One of them is
, the one who recommended me the Steemit platform in the first place.

I will not hide the fact that I am searching for people to support our project and back it up because it is so necessary and so beautiful in all the possible ways. Maybe, who knows, writing about our work here will be one good way to attract friends, collaborators and supporters.
Something else to be said about me is that starting 2005 I used to have a blog – pretty successful for Romania until I got fed up with it and switched to Facebook. It was around 2010 when I decided not to hold on to the content making anymore as Facebook was much more interactive and more fun. Now I am fed up with Facebook as it keeps changing it’s own rules and ended up being boring and so less useful. Online I always allowed things to be pretty personal but now I want to concentrate on art and on my work. I hope there are people here who search information about art.
I hope I will soon understand the ways this platform works. To be honest, until now I did not find really good quality content about art. Maybe you can help me by giving some interesting resources or people to follow. Any advice will be highly appreciated. Do not hesitate to put me in connection to people that might like or search for the kind of information and news I can provide as much as I need to get in contact with professional artists, professional art managers around the world and real art lovers, the art public we are always searching for our projects.
Hugs and cheers to everyone on Steemit and please be kind to a new arrival, help me through all this new stuff!
