Next time you are thinking of having a cocktail, think instead of adding a dash of your favorite liquor to your tried and true smoothie recipe. Instead of consuming empty calories (and a lot of calories at that), you can make a delicious, refreshing concoction that has a bit of healthy.
For today's Smoothie Happy Hour, in honor of summer drawing to a close, I suggest my all time summer favorite. You can swap out strawberries for any kind of berries or add a zing of crazy by choosing a flavored vodka.

Strawberry, Banana and Vodka Smoothie for Two
Ingredients:
One cup strawberry or plain greek yogurt
One banana, sliced (for easier blending)
Two cups strawberries sliced (for easier blending)
One ounce of your favorite Vodka
2 cups ice
Directions:
Blend all ingredients together in a blender until smooth. Pour into a fancy glass or a plain old mug and enjoy.
