Hands down my best photo of the year, but I'll let you be the judge. This is from my Forest Lakes Adventure here, https://steemit.com/blog/@notconvinced/my-four-day-adventure-hiking-the-forest-lakes-trail
2017 has brought many changes in my life. The biggest was the epiphany which has detailed my path, at least for the next year. If you would like the details, please check out my introduction herehttps://steemit.com/introduceyourself/@notconvinced/hello-steemians-this-is-me
(Taken in Levi Carter Park)
Most of my photographs are taken at Levi Carter Park. This is a pretty large park, which is within walking distance of my home. My pup and I come here almost daily so he can run off leash and have a ball. The Omaha side of Carter Lake is about four miles long if you follow the shore line. I have created a post with three slideshows and quite a bit of information about the park contained within. You can find that here,

( Lower Boulder Creek, which gives Boulder, CO it's name. This was taken on my Eldorado Canyon Trail Hike)
I am an avid backpacker that has hiked many trails in Colorado, Wyoming and New Mexico. You will see quite a few picture's from these adventure's.
( From my work route in Omaha, NE)
I have a few favorite spots on my driving route while working where timing allows me to get some great sunset shots.
Here's another one from the exact same spot, but looking in the opposite direction.
This one and the next two are from Levi Carter Park.
I call this one Natures Bathtub Toys. See the ducky?
Above and below are once again Levi Carter Park
All my Photo's to date are taken by smartphone. I have almost saved up enough money to get a new Canon T80. I can't wait as I know this will step up my photography multiple levels.
Above and below are two more from my Forest Lakes Trail Adventure.
Here is a meme I created from my gallery

Here's the view from the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge near Taos, NM.
The keys to producing eye popping photo's are quantity, timing, luck and a good editor. Learning to use an editor is a must.
Thank you for giving me your time. Please make the time to get outside, record it for others to enjoy and keep our area's clean by practicing leave-no-trace principles.
