So it's the question that all Arsenal fans want to know.
Is Alexis Sanchez staying or going. My opinion is that he is leaving Arsenal, and here's why I have come to that conclusion:
Alexis Wants out!
Alexis has said that he knows what his decision is and would tell everyone after the confederations cup, but
He is yet to make is announcement. If he was staying it would've been announced by now. That's point number 1.
Point number 2 is that Arsenal are only spending big because they know that Alexis is leaving: paying £60M of Lacazette and placing bids for Thomas Lemar and Ryiad Marhez for a total of £85M is not the Arsenal way especially if Alexis was staying.
For The Fans
I think that Arsenal are trying to get these deals in quickly so that they can announce that Sanchez is leaving and hopefully it will soften the blow to fans.
I hope I'm wrong about this by the way, but my head is telling me that this is how is going to play out! The only question left is where will Sanchez go? If he ends up at Manchester City Arsenal will need to sign Messi in order to keep the fans from exploding with frustration....
