Bajai Body Camp 12.11: Day 339
Templarios Hotel
Friday May 11, 2018
La Alberca, Spain
18.56% final hours...
Last day and already the tears are flowing. Standard breakfast and good lunch. Probably too much wine.
I wasn't the only one getting "seasick" on the bus.
The first part of the bus ride was brutal. Jerky driving and in a hurry... but I understood... he already did four hours from Madrid, but only had to ride half way back.
We arrived on time, but I was messed up from the trip. It's like being seasick.
Another great crew, Johnny (MC) and Sabela (PD)...and here we part ways.
Shared an Uber with Ginger and George... first ride in a Tesla. I was a bit too dizzy to enjoy it. Not that impressed with the car but impressed with Omar, the driver, who drives full time.
Checked into TOC... hostel, but a dormitory really... €10.00 deposit, which I either missed or wasn't informed about on the website. €2 towel rental. Six beds, fingerprint key, no eating in the rooms, yet one of my mates has food. The Pod is better, but not by much. The lockers are small... well medium, I have more stuff, I think, than the average traveler. I did stuff my stuff in the locker.
Checked into this spot. Pretty cool. I could become a "Hostel person" if necessary.
The location is central and the staff is friendly, multi lingual... at least English and Spanish, and professional.
There's a common kitchen, bar, lounge and pool table... so I should be able top get caught up with some work. Four days here... on the cheap. Paid with PayPal, so no additional charge on the card.
Universe took €10.00 from me....Probably for complaining about dinero. I'd best chill the hell out.
I need to decide on the next place to stay. The San Isidro festival it's happening now until Tuesday... so maybe I can get a spot. We'll see if any ESL slots open up.
Meeting your mates by chance on the streets of Playa Del Sol.
Meeting up again with Ginger and George and Bethie, (a new friend from Diverbo just appears)... No plan... Universe. Must be meant to be. We'll see what happens.
Got to be daddy bank again... part of the job. Got to help me kiddies stay on their feet.
