Welcome back. It’s not a monthly wrap up, but we do have a real life story for you. Numbers have been our gateway to finding truth. The story is true. The numbers have not been changed, manipulated or harmed in any way.
PS: To overseas readers who are not familiar with 20th century America or its TV shows, military jargon, obscure extracted movie lines or sarcasm, my apologies. Mind writes. Fingers type. Song lyrics and TV shows are spinning round & round…

01-31-2026 … Day 23713 (Exit Ramp for January)
It’s the perfect kind of day to stay inside, recover from yesterday’s workout, drink tea, eat kimchi & cashews, watch B-movies and listen to 60 year old lectures from Manly Hall. What could be better? I did make an egg run, though. Oh yes – there’s the standard geopolitical fare, some interesting Substack tracks and our daily biceps curls. 20 more until we get our Century.
Universe continues to send us some very clear signals by way of numbers magic. But what do these messages mean? They mean that we are on the right track. Maybe number five of the top five "best pieces of advice I ever got" is, “Keep doin’ what you’re doin’.” I liken these signals from Uni to sign posts along the road of life. Sometimes the road is like a super-highway, but mostly it’s just a dirt road. Often it’s just a path. You know the type."Gonna try to make a short cut through the brush." Sometimes it works – so what? You had to swim across a mighty river, build a bridge over a chasm with fallen trees, or fight off predators who did not know who they were fuckin’ with – you made it through. Maybe you’re back on that highway, or on city streets. But for real – don’t you miss that trail you blazed? The scars from the thorns & thistles are unique reminders of your creativity. Your journey. Your triumph.
Speaking of detours. Ha ha.
What has happened in the nine days since we last posted?
We got some “fan mail.” Some account decided to pick a fight with Us. They won. There’s a fable about a donkey picking a fight with a tiger. I keep that one in mind for just such an occasion.
Other than that, we have just been catching up with episodes.
We made a promise to Universe. It looks like we might have to keep it. I don’t know whether it will be a “win” for our readers here or not. You will have to decide for yourselves.
We already did a piece about this for the show – and I shared the story with a friend. Speaking of sharing stories; a very long time ago I decided that I would only tell a story five times. Back then, I was hanging out with “the band” – we called ourselves the “Unusual Suspects.” Inevitably at least two of the members would have heard the story already – maybe twice. So, five times is the limit. Then it goes into the archives until one of those – “Reminds-me-of-that-time-when …” moments come up. If one of the Fram (that’s the group that came after the Unusual Suspects), is there, I may glance over to get a nod of permission, because they know what’s comin’.
This will technically be number three for this story. The detailed visual rendition is coming up in one of February’s episodes.
Back in the day – still in this century when I was still in the system – I bought one of those pull up things you secure in the doorway for pull ups at home. I had two of them, but no doorways where I could hang them. I ended up using them for other stuff including push ups and balancing. Long story short, I said to Universe, "if I find one of those things I would buy it.” First, I am thinking I will never find one. And, then that it would be too expensive. The last one I bought was maybe about – I don’t even know. For some reason 20-something comes to mind, but maybe it was $12.00.
So, I am in one of these discount stores looking for the elastic resistance bands – those things are great – very helpful. They had one band on the shelf, but it was too expensive. I swear they must have dynamic pricing on these things. Anyway – there's one of those pull up bars. Opened box. Checked it out. Checked the price. Affordable. Even for a vagabond. Plus, Universe was answering.
I get to register 6 and after declining the loan-shark interest rates store credit card, I tell the cashier that 6 is a perfect number and that it was perfect coming to her register – just some good vibes type chatter. She tells me that 9 is also perfect because she is born on 9 9 (September 9th.) She rings up the item, and the final price comes to $18.18. Right back to 9 9!
One of the Seven Truths of Noxsoma Life Camp is that “Numbers Never Lie.” Of course, I don’t mean in happenstance like this experience – but then again, maybe I do.
So in addition to putting it out there and getting the reply, the numerical alignment confirmed that it was the right decision.
When I declare that this vessel is a “believer” this is what I’m talking about. I don’t mean it in the way that refugees from the 1980s “New Age” movement mean it. They want to be spiritually protected without the commitment or rituals that they have been raised with. Especially Catholics. [No offense. But you know I’m right.]
We won’t turn this into a commercial for a belief “system” or lifestyle. If you watch the show, you already know – we just flow.
I guess we can wrap it up here and get back to perfectly veggin’ out on the final day of January. One down. Eleven to go.
Remember, Friday the 13th is coming in February and March. Remember what happened last Friday the 13th, which I believe was June of 2025.
