If we want to be very honest, 95 percent of people that joined hive , joined because of the reward. Even the few people that I introduced to hive, it was the reward that really attracted them to join. Infact, it was the reward that attracted me too, before I even enjoy writing everyday. As a teacher writing and sharing ideas is not a big task for me because we do that everyday. But in as much as we do that everyday, we do it with the hope that there will be a take home at the end of the day. The same thing is applicable to hive.
Even in the case of church, just have or do what attracts people to the church fjrst , then when they are in the holy spirit will capture them and salvation will happen. It was the reward that attracted most of us here and I think the reward is part of what is still keeping us now. Even as we have come to like hive, network, get to know and make new friends, the reward is still very necessary. I like telling people, no matter the level of passion that you have for something, that passion is always driven by something. This is to say you need fuel to drive that passion 😂🤣, and in this case the reward serves as the fuel.
Okay just imagine, when the hive price started to decrease, some people were not really posting much again. Then all of a sudden we woke up one morning and HBD was gone, now run the statistics to know the drop in the rate of people that continues, and you will agree with me that if the reward is totally gone, that a lot of people will move on.
The question now is, will I stay or move ? I will stay but not as before, because there is a community that I love coming to read people's prompt and I so enjoy reading from there. So I think that's one community that would have been bringing me. And I would have been posting too. But I would take a different pattern. That's writing two to three post at ones ,then schedule them for different days without necessarily visiting the platform. But for now , we keep moving.
