For vegan food lovers, the dishes served must, of course, be delicious so that they taste even better when enjoyed and, naturally, bring more joy to the heart. Yes, of course, when something tastes good, it puts you in a different mood.
Today, I’m going to show you a different way to prepare cauliflower. Not by making it into a curry or frying it, but by enjoying it with an extraordinary flavor.
Roasted cauliflower is a great option for vegans who want to enjoy the taste of grilled meat without any guilt. Yes, in my opinion, this is one of the vegetables that works perfectly when roasted and seasoned just like meat. The umami texture and flavor of the cauliflower make this dish truly perfect.
Ingredients
1 head of cauliflower (adjust as needed)
2 sheets of nori
1 teaspoon chili powder
Sesame seeds to taste
1 clove of garlic
1 teaspoon vegan mayonnaise mixed with ½ teaspoon sweet soy sauce
Instructions
Cut the cauliflower into two halves, select the undamaged parts, then wash and blanch briefly in boiling water.
Arrange on a baking sheet greased with margarine or oil. Mix the sauce ingredients: minced garlic, chili powder, mayonnaise, and soy sauce.
Add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil, then stir the sauce again.
Coat all the cauliflower with the prepared sauce, then sprinkle with sesame seeds and nori strips.
Bake in the oven until fully cooked—the aroma is incredibly fragrant—and arrange on a serving plate.
Result
Serve on a serving plate and enjoy this delicious vegan dish—the spicy, savory, and umami flavors of the cauliflower come together perfectly. I love enjoying this while it’s still warm; trust me, it makes for a perfect dinner. I recommend adding roasted potatoes for a great combination, or serving it with tempeh and tofu—this is truly a perfect blend of ingredients.
I love everything about it—the flavor is so authentic, and the cauliflower is perfectly cooked. Blanching it first helps it cook faster. I highly recommend making this dish at home. Trust me, it’s truly delicious, and if you love spicy food, you’ll love this.
