Hello hive friends how are you all? Hope you all are well. Today I am here again with another new veggan recipe. Most of my recipes are Bengali food, I am Bengali so I like to eat Bengali food. My recipe today is Gourd peel fri with potato. Gourd is a vegetable with many nutrients, that increase the immune system of our body. We can eat gourd curry for many stomach problems.
This gourd vegetable keeps our body cool and even the leaves of gourd have many properties that many of us do not know. Similarly, the peel of the gourd has many properties. Just as we can eat Gourd peels as a vegetable, pumpkin peels are used for various cosmetic purposes on our skin. Moreover, gourd peel controls diabetics, keeps the liver healthy and helps in weight loss. So gourd we should eat gourd peel occasionally. And I eat this vegetable a lot and cook it in different ways. So let's see what ingredients we need to fry the gourd peel.
- Gourd - peel
- Potatoes - 250 grams
- Onion big size - one piece
- Green chillies- five pieces
- Salt - to taste
- Coriander leaves - to taste
- Soybean oil - like quantity
- Cumin powder - half spoon
- Garlic paste - half spoon
- Turmeric powder - half spoon
First, I peeled the gourd from the gourd, then chopped them. I cut the gourd skins thinly. Then I washed the gourd peels well and drained the water.
Now I also chopped this potatoes on thinly and washed them properly. After that I chopped the onions.
Now I put a pan on the stove and put enough oil in it. When the oil is hot, add chopped onions and green chillies and fry them until light brown.
Now I put the Gourd peel and potato chops on fried onions.
Then apply salt, turmeric powder, garlic paste, cumin and coriander powder.
Now I mixed all the spices with Gourd peels and potato chops. Now I fried it for fifteen minutes.
Lastly i added some coriander leaves on it and fried it for five minutes. Our food is ready.
