Recently, an uninvited guest, a black beetle, came to my house. Since I know there is such a wonderful community like Insects Of The World, I decided to find out more about this guest.

It is extremely difficult to identify insects, because there are billions of them. However, this black beetle looks a lot like a dung beetle. I don't have the technical means to take cool macro photos, but the Insects Of The World community made me want to take a closer look at the world around us, the world of insects.
I live in Ukraine, so the insects I meet are characteristic of the temperate climate zone.

Another guest of my house is a moth. Due to the poor lighting, I was unable to take a clear photo.

Okay, it's not an insect. Insects have six legs, and spiders have eight. I did not know this, my seven-year-old daughter told me about it. She also made fun of me :)

And this is a jumping grasshopper, which decided to rest on the outer wall of a human dwelling. It is not a locust, although you definitely know about it :)

This insect is completely unknown to me, I would be glad if you could tell me what it is.

This is also a mystery to me.

This butterfly lives in various meadows, forests, along river valleys or on the edges of swamps. It flies from mid-June to the end of July. The most amazing thing I learned about this insect is that the females lay their eggs in flight.
This was not a post just for the sake of making a post. I really enjoyed traveling through the world of insects. Maybe I will continue my research. It is interesting to learn something new.
Thanks for reading.
