What, no Beer Thirstday...!?

Early next week I have another opportunity to go for bicycle trip. And I want to go beyond what I have done before. Instead of about one hundred kilometer in a day, I want to double that. Not being a speed cyclists this means I will be in the saddle for at least 10 hours. But probably at least two more hours added to that. The saddle pain will be severe, I guess. Leaving at 6 in the morning, getting up at about 5. Packing light the sunday evening before.
In the back of my head I hear a question if I have lost it. But I want to know if I can do it. It is about 200 Kilometer to get to the destination I am thinking about. And of course I have to get back home again after that. Yet I have planned a break for a day inbetween. No reservations made for staying over two nights, because I'm not sure I can make it.
The weather has to be right and my health challenges need to be manageable. There is a certain average cycle speed I need to be able to obtain also. For a possible change of plans I have two options though. Also about 200 Kilometer a day, but both with a destination at about a 100 KM I will be sleeping at home. But first I need to feel a lot better than I do right now.
Not drinking any alcohol for two weeks before those long bicycle trips should have a positive effect. That means no Beer Thirstday for two weeks in a row. And I have no idea if I'm able to finish a bicycle trip of 200 KM. Or if I'm able to get back home after a break of a day. In theory it could be done. In practice I will know next Thursday...
Beer Thirstday will be back!
