I spent two different years of my life, living in China... I don't think I will ever understand the culture, but I do have fun stories, happy memories, and some great photos of amazing sites... This picture is me at a mountain monastery, enjoying China's first tribute to rock and roll, possibly... This was near the town of Ningbo, which is Shanghai's New Jersey...
I found Shanghai to be surreal, with people walking around in public in their pajamas, and wow, how did everyone get so FAT? That was 2014, and yeah it was very different from living in Guangdong near Hong Kong in 2003... They must be eating Monsanto's genetically modified crap...
So I have only been on steemit for a few days, and I don't quite understand how my authenticity and creativity will generate income in the future... I want to believe... I seem to be missing the networking or marketing gene, because I can make hilarious art all day long, yet the internet doesn't appear to care... The only thing I won't do is sell out, meaning trade my moral character for financial security... Anyone relate to that?
