OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 2127th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Hi foodies or culinary lovers, today I will share a sponge cake recipe, a sponge cake that is usually served at certain events at home or can be brought as a souvenir to a friend or relative's house. Well, it was just right today I made a sponge cake to take to my relative's house. Coincidentally, there was a celebration at his house so I immediately bought the ingredients and made the cake at home.

Farming is a beautiful kind of work because it truly brings joy to the heart, especially when you see the crops you planted growing and eventually bearing fruit. However, farming really requires hard work and patience. Without those two, it’s easy to give up, especially when the plants you’ve worked on die.

Since 2019, the country has been in the dark; those days are etched in people’s subconscious because of the uncertainty we experienced at that time. I personally experienced it in two places: one in my city, with my family, and another blackout in an unfamiliar city. I still remember the gloom, and it triggers anxiety in my emotional brain because I simply can’t forget it.

This morning, while browsing the web, I stumbled upon a video that revolved around the ideas of the German philosopher Schopenhauer on the nature of goodness. Initially, I was captivated by the way the narrator presented his arguments, which, incidentally, experts consider extremely pessimistic.

Yes, one tends to believe that evil exists outside of oneself. Very few people define themselves as evil. This includes those who boast of belonging to criminal gangs. On the other hand, I observe others who accept the natural inclination toward evil and, consequently, expect to be saved from themselves by the intervention of a redeeming messiah. Let me clarify, I'm not here to attack beliefs or offend religious practitioners. No, heaven forbid! I simply want to establish that, generally, one doesn't see evil reflected in the mirror.

Let's first talk about what despair is. In non-technical terms, it is a state in which you feel that nothing makes sense, you lose hope that anything will happen, you feel sad, frustrated, your emotions are low, which makes everything you do, say, or think negative, since you feel that nothing makes sense or that at least there is no escape from what is happening and that nothing good will come of it. It is a state that anyone can fall into at some point in their life, especially when things get difficult, whether due to family problems, financial issues, or anything else that can cause instability and make you fall into despair.

Hello dear friends, I hope you are all doing well. This Friday afternoon, I want to share with you a drawing I made of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. The greatest legend of pop music and the most influential artist of the 20th century is now making a comeback, this time with the release of his film, Michael. I haven't had a chance to see it in theaters yet; it premiered yesterday, and I've read very positive reviews. I've always been a fan of the King of Pop, so I have a date at the cinema to see it. I created this drawing using the scribble technique, just loose, circular lines, gradually taking shape with the pen ink on the paper. I hope you like what you're about to see. Let's begin!

As we were getting ready to leave, we realized that the scheduled time for the walk was very early and the sun was already blazing. The heat has been so intense these past few weeks that we decided it would be better to change our plans to a day at the movies. Believe me, I was thrilled because it’s one of my favorite things to do. I really enjoy going to the movies, and even more so when I go with my son since we don’t usually take him very often. in fact, this was his second time, and best of all, we got to enjoy the second Mario Bros. movie.

It never ceases to amaze me that such a formal yearning for individualism, such a widespread search for difference, leads to seas of people who dress the same, taste the same mass-produced flavors, read the same books, watch the same TV shows, travel to the same big cities—those big cities, at least the European ones, that are losing their identity to become commercial showcases for the same brands: H&M, McDonald’s, Mango, Zara, Starbucks, Primark, KFC, Burger King, Domino’s Pizza, etc.

I already have all my documents. So I can breathe a sigh of relief.

However, yesterday was exhausting and draining. I arrived at eight in the morning and left at four in the afternoon. I spent the entire day doing that paperwork; I only had breakfast at home, without buying anything else because I was terrified to move from the line, that it would move forward and I would lose all the time I had spent there.

I'm finishing up late for the day, it's been a long time since I've posted at midnight, but here I am with a recent illustration where I created a dark version of Tinker Bell, the fairy who always accompanies Peter Pan, in my own style. In this case, she's a fairy imprisoned, and I think that dark element works well in fairy tales. Now you'll see the process.
