OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 2144th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Having a pet is like having another member of the family. Some people love dogs, others love cats, and others who are more extravagant seek the company of exotic and even prohibited animals, which I don't agree with, even if they give them a good life. But what I do agree with is that once you decide to adopt a pet, you have to take on all the responsibility that comes with it, as if you had another child.

A few days ago, I mentioned that I had my first dermatological checkup, where a couple of doctors examined me for a very nasty skin problem that I have had for a long time. They diagnosed me with atopic dermatitis.

So, I had to buy the medications they prescribed to treat my skin.

Autumn is one of my favorite seasons because it's not so hot, and you can feel the gentle breezes that herald the approach of winter. I've noticed this in books, movies, and other media, since I live in a tropical country in the Caribbean, and it's hot most of the year. Autumn here is practically winter, and you hardly notice it—just a few trees shedding their leaves and the occasional breeze. But like I said, it's always warm! 😂 I would love to travel the world and experience the four seasons in their true essence, and of course, with "The Four Seasons" by the Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi playing in the background, especially "Autumn."

Being me I of course missed said party, but I did manage to pop into said bar on Sunday afternoon to sample three of the special Halloween beers, and another very good brew from One Drop. You see Sunday afternoons is more civilized time to drink than a Friday night.

A shooting star named Alaska. Alaska, a two-legged miracle, arrived at my home on July 14, 2023. Compared to other great names in film history, Stanley Kubrick's filmography is brief, little more than a dozen films; however, his impact and talent are undeniable. We owe him such diverse gems as Spartacus, A Clockwork Orange, Barry Lyndon, The Shining, and the iconic 2001: A Space Odyssey. Had he made just one of these films, he would have gone down in history, but he made them all. All of these and more, including the one I'm bringing you today.
