OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 2162nd compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

I never thought I would be wearing new clothes this Christmas, but I couldn't resist the sales at some shops in my city, and as I've had a year with many challenging experiences, to put it mildly, I decided to give myself that gift because I deserve it. 🫠

Greetings dear readers today I give life and love to my blog presenting a restoration art that I really did not expect to come to me again 😮.

I want to sincerely thank the community for all the support and for being part of this musical journey. Your energy and presence make every week unique.

It’s incredible how many opinions I’ve encountered when I sing. Some people like it and others don’t; this happens to me a lot, especially when I’m performing. At first, I used to listen to them, and my emotions depended on whether the audience accepted me or not. Later, I realized that wasn't right, because what the majority wants or prefers isn't always what is actually "good."

God gave me three treasures that are not lost in absence, the faith that sustains my steps, the hope that illuminates my days, and the love that can do anything, all of them are invisible and constant.

So every time I quit or lost my job, there was always something waiting for me. I've made good friends at some of my jobs, which makes me very happy, but I would never say that I miss working at any of the places I left behind, nor that a piece of paper, a desk, some tax bill, or a folder is my child. I don't think I'd say that about a plant either, because I feel that freedom lies in living without ties.

The world does not hide in the fog, it only asks us to pause. To listen to the silence, to feel the moment, to understand it and accept uncertainty as part of the journey. Because often, it is precisely when we cannot see the end that we learn the most about ourselves. In that vagueness we realize how often we want to see the whole road ahead, when in fact it is enough to trust the next bend. The fog reminds us that control is not in speed, but in attention. Every kilometer requires presence, a steady hand and self-confidence.

But something is missing: the written papers. After looking at them and trying to read what look like hieroglyphics from a civilization lost in time, clear letters appear, messages of encouragement, those given to us by our loved ones, those we said to ourselves in front of the mirror.

Life is as brief or meaningful as a breath, the sparkle of a glance that stirs butterflies in the stomach and makes even the toughest tree's knees tremble; as fleeting as the hummingbirds' sipping of nectar from sunflowers, yet as precious as the pollen that fertilizes the path of their wings.

Life can be as eternal or fleeting as time itself. Like the light on the faces of those in love, happy, or content after a kind deed done for someone.

Nothing could be more fitting on this date than a Christmas #TBT, and today I remember my Christmas in 2015 at my family’s house. Time flies, and it’s already been 10 years since I visited my parents’ house to welcome in the new year 2016. In my lifetime, we never celebrated New Year’s Eve at our house (my parents’ house), but rather all the celebrations were or have been at my grandparents’ house (my dad’s parents). They don’t like to leave their house, so my dad brought the party to them.
