WEEKEND-ENGAGEMENT TOPICS: WEEK 301/ People who brighten your day 😀🙌🙌
Even though I was a very shy and sad person, I was lucky enough to meet good friends along the way, who were kind enough to love and support me just as I was. My best friend in elementary school, Stella, was—unlike me—a very cheerful and popular girl. But for some reason, she took a liking to me. We always talked at school and studied together, even though she didn’t understand why I was so pessimistic. And I would say things to her like: “Why should I be optimistic if I don’t like most people? My parents are always fighting, and at school they make fun of me.” Stella’s mother married a Canadian man and they moved to Canada. She was the daughter of divorced parents.I didn't see her again for many years.

Fortunately, I've been able to store everything without it getting damaged. But even though everything is in good condition and perfectly stored, just looking at it tires me, it exhausts me; I think I just want a pleasant space that gives me peace.Which is something I enjoy and that makes me feel good. It happens with the plants in the garden; I'm always tidying and cleaning to make it pleasant for myself.
On the other hand, with my room, no matter how much I tidy it, I've never reached that point where I say, I'm satisfied with the result.

Let me tell you a little bit about this book club to give you some context. The truth is that it started a few years ago with teacher Isis, who wanted a space where children could read and get closer to reading. The downside is that with the arrival of the pandemic and other factors, the club was put on hold... so the years went by, and recently it was decided to revive the idea, and now Teacher María Esther is the one who will lead this reading club. She is the one who has been working hard (along with other colleagues) to make sure the new space for the club was perfect. And so the big opening day arrived. A beautiful Friday morning

I remember that when I was in elementary school, they would hand out a glass of milk, but I wouldn't drink it right away. Instead, I would save it, and when I got home, the first thing I would do was pour the milk into a pot, add cornstarch, sugar, and vanilla. At that point, I would make my atole without any measurements, doing everything by instinct. I was always satisfied, haha, even though sometimes my drink would have lumps, I still enjoyed it 😁

New releases keep coming to various platforms, and many have been huge hits—plays, documentaries, and more—each with something unique to offer. Many of them don’t need to make a big splash to leave a lasting impression, as their stories offer valuable lessons. That’s why Hamnet recently premiered; it has generated a lot of buzz, won awards, and tells a story that doesn’t aim to shock with dramatic moments, but instead focuses on something simpler and more human—something we’ve all surely experienced—and explores the emotions that linger when everything changes or when everything seems to be going well.

But she didn’t know how. Months of anguish passed, and Anne was consumed by pain and despair; without realizing it, she had fallen into a tunnel of pain from which there was no turning back. One fine day she went to sleep and fell into a deep slumber... She found herself inside a cathedral, with a head of thick red hair; this time she was tall, more slender, with skin as white as snow and European-looking features. She was so different from how she knew herself to be in the present. Anne; in the dream she knew it was her, just in another body...

HIVE OPEN MIC WEEK #310 EMOTION HOW DEEP IS YOUR LOVE - COVER BY MARIFLAUTACUBANA
For this week, number 310, I bring you a beautiful song from the iconic, world-renowned group the Bee Gees, "How Deep Is Your Love," and one of my father's favorite songs, since they are also his favorite band 💕. For this season's theme, "Emotion," I could have chosen any other song—perhaps more "pretty," more well-known, or more emotional—but I chose this one because I believe there are many emotional songs with a beautiful musical atmosphere that we haven't yet discovered. I think we should explore and delve deeper into the music of other eras, other decades, and other genres, and not just listen to the typical love songs of today. When it comes to emotions and love in music, there's so much to unpack.

Her post, with its impeccable presentation, made me think about some books I've never photographed or talked about, and others that are always present in my comments because of gifts I've received throughout my life or that I've simply bought to enjoy. Even those Mafalda comics I used to put in the bathroom to encourage my children to read.
