OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 2210th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

The world is constantly changing. We notice this whenever there is a “hiccup” or a sudden jolt. As far back as 2010, when Portugal was facing a major recession caused by excessive increases in public debt, the talk of competitiveness, the stagnation of the financial sector, and the lack of diversity and low penetration in international markets, with the trade balance tilting heavily toward imports. Many disastrous public investments led us to that point, and I remember very well when, in 2011, the government had to request assistance from the IMF—the International Monetary Fund—the European Commission, and the European Central Bank, through the mechanism that came to be known as the Troika—due to the three entities involved.

Some of the conclusions reached by cutting-edge research in neuroscience may seem quite shocking, such as pointing out the errors of “scientific” medicine—the official medicine of the West. These are errors that were already exposed by the old humanist physicians, such as Gregorio Marañón.

As an example, Mira y López called this very modern medicine—which has broken the human being down into organs, rendering the person in whom those organs reside unrecognizable—veterinary medicine, and I believe he was quite right to do so.

When we talk about talent, we've already learned that it's something innate that is acquired through learning, but it arrives like that candy that gives us pleasure. There are many kinds of talent. Imagine the person who could make these sweets and add a touch of emotion to each wrapper. I've also heard that we can lose our talents; that is, if we don't cultivate our talents, they can be transferred to others. Can you imagine for a moment that something innate can be lost simply by not putting it into practice, by setting it aside? Let's imagine for a moment losing our talents; writing on this platform is a great talent.

Based on novel of the same name by Ariana Harwicz, and directed by Lynne Ramsay, Die My Love is a psychological thriller that takes viewers on a spiraling journey through the love life of Jackson (Robert Pattinson) and Grace (Jennifer Lawrence). They are a happy young couple who move into a big Montana house formerly belonging to Jackson's late uncle. They don't know how he died though Grace is curious about it.

One wall of my study is covered in bookcases (Ikea Billy!). A fair chunk of that is full of DVDs and CDs, but we will focus on the books. These are largely non-fiction (see later for fiction). They are roughly grouped by topic, but sometimes I just need to find space for a book. On the top shelf on the left is mostly popular science with a few about music. Below that we have more science and computing with some travel guides by the alarm clock. Then there is a shelf of mostly graphic novels.

Since it's Holy Week, I wanted to record a song I've known since the year before last, one that has deeply moved me. This march is of Andalusian origin, composed by the musician Alejandro Blanco Hernández and premiered in 2012 by the Banda Solemne de Andalucía. It has become very popular in processions related to Our Lady of Sorrows, especially on Good Friday, and lately it has gone viral on TikTok with videos of these important celebrations in Andalusia, such as the processions in Guatemala, Andalusia, and the Vatican.

Just like in recent years, we go to the procession, which takes place in the afternoon and is a long walk. You can imagine the sun at that hour, relentless, but as they say, this is a sacrifice for God, for our sins. So as believers, it is our moment to accompany our Father on that day.

The advantage of taking "photographic" walks is having photographs of the places we walk to share with people who appreciate the effort involved in having photographic "material". While I love the walks we take through the city center, when it comes to getting photographs for scientific analysis, there's no better place than the "reserve

Greetings to everyone in the lifestyle community. Today I’m joining you here to share a new day in my life with you. At the start of Holy Week, I went with my partner to a new volleyball game—this time with a different team, as well as the official team here in Ciudad Guayana. It’s been a relatively quiet week for me and my family, as I’m undergoing medical treatment that I’d like to finish, and I don’t really feel like doing much outside the house. Plus, this is usually a time when people focus more on partying and traveling and less on religious observance, which is why there tend to be more traffic accidents and conflicts in the city. Ironically. In general, how people spend their time and what they do with it doesn’t interest me, to a certain extent, because what we do as individuals affects us as a society.
