Can a woman lead? Surprisingly, some people still ask this long-answered question.
Asking this seems ignorant and uneducated.
If a man can lead, why can’t a woman do same? It is common in the African society for a woman to be deemed incapable or weak in the affairs of any form of leadership. It is true women behave quite differently from men when viewed from a perspective of behavioral tendencies and social generalization but then, I am yet to see a behavioral loophole of leadership in women ,except that the human race in totality suffers from such a vice. The African society most importantly suffers from this deeply.
Women are more than capable to play the highest role of leadership in any society without fail. They surely can, they always have, and they will continue to. I am writing this to further eradicate the archaic school of thought that assumes women to be incapable of authority.
In fact, women, because of their motherly nature, inborn intuition skills and selflessness stand a chance to be more concerned for their followers. This is not to say men are lesser, neither it is to say women are greater. This is just to say we are all equal to the task, any school of thought that preaches against this is simply being unjust in the matters of gender inequality.
