Bekakak is a dish of chicken dishes served after a child is circumcised and is a Sundanese tradition. The chicken that has been slaughtered is then cleaned and given spices and then roasted without being cut into pieces.
The purpose of presenting Bekakak is so that the child who has been circumcised recovers quickly and grows into a strong person. The chicken used as a bekakak must be a rooster.
