Title: Snails
The end of April and the beginning of May, when the rains are frequent, represent the time when snails appear in large numbers. Then begins their breeding season, which lasts until the end of fall. Snails are hermaphrodites, and each has both a male and a female reproductive organ. Every snail, even though has both a male and a female reproductive apparatus, is not able to fertilize alone, but must have a mate.
Although they have eyes, they do not rely too much on them, but on the sense of smell, that is on the lower horns.
