Whether we turn a blind eye or not, the world is hurting
The reality won't change by the denial we pose
It's disheartening to watch and read stories of kids on th streets
It's obvious to even those denying it, it's crystal clear to the naked eyes
Look at our leaders too, meant to alleviate but they offer no solution in sight
They strive for their pockets rather than the citizens they swore to protect
They left the citizens to fend and defend with their instinct
They have no clear plan to do anything so distinct
The problems are staring at us in the face, how then do we turn a blind eye?
All we do is analyze the problem, that's what we are good at
But to proffer a solution? All we do is stall even when we know the answer
All we do is talk more and act less
We cover all the imperfections with a gorgeous dress
It doesn't address the problems but we are good at masking things and digress
In a bid to avoid responsibilities we point fingers at others
Our government...they are the experts at this and they do it with pride
They are slow to do good but swift to take the bribe
We would have to ask them what's their motive and drive?
On our road to financial liberation we found Hive
Still, they placed a ban on cryptocurrencies, not one, not five
They enjoy seeing others struggle and please tell me this isn't witchcraft?
They have wickedness in layers and they keep pulling out the draft
We all have a part to play in all these all over the place
Let's give more kindness as we spread fragrance with a trace
The world is big enough, there is no need fighting for a space
We look up to others to fix things when we can do our tiny bits
It all starts with us and if only we can make our little difference
Whoever thinks he or she is too small to make a difference
Has clearly never been in bed with a mosquito
Every little bit helps but you need consistency to make it count
