Decided to change things up and take my morning walk at Indian Ford Meadow Preserve. Since I moved a while back this area is even closer to me now and it made sense to give it a revisit. It was a beautiful morning with mostly blue skies that made viewing the surrounding mountain peaks quite enjoyable. Join me on this short walk around the preserve. 😀 🚶
The Three Sisters in the Central Oregon Cascades are the main attraction while strolling here.

Here is a reader board with a little more information about how this place came to be and some of the rules for using the mile long trail.
A couple shots of Mt Jefferson in the distance.
There weren't a lot of wild flowers at this point in time but there was a patch or two of these small yellow and pink beauties. Not sure this picture really captures their beauty very well.
Here is Indian Ford Creek with a shadow selfie of me. 😁. The creek is hidden in a thicket of bushes on much of its journey through the preserve. This is one of the few spots to get a good view of it. And a short video below of the same area.
Two more perspectives of The Three Sisters looming over Indian Ford Meadow.
And here is a shot from a past visit to the same area that gives a glimpse of what it might have looked like for the original peoples that inhabited this area.
As I was nearing the end of the trail I ran into an artist creating his vision of the scene unfolding in front of us. He was kind enough to allow me to add his creation into my image. Kind of like picture in picture mode. 😃
And as the end of the hike is now in sight here is a shot of Mt Washington ...
And a last look at Mt Jefferson and Black Butte framed between a couple Ponderosa Pines.
