The students at our school decided to surprise us today again, when they treated us to a home-cooked maqluba at lunch time. I filmed the process of revealing this casserole dish to the world: lo and behold! Here comes the mighty maqluba!
This particular maqluba was prepared according to a Palestinian recipe. But it’s also known – and appreciated – in Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Syria and Turkey (according to the Wikipedia). Do you have a similar dish in your country? Please share in the comments section!
