Hello steemians

Am back again with another update from our church invasion meet-up.

Here is the report of our meet-up

Once again another success story on the second church meet-up or better still let me say steemvangelism with the catholic youth organization of Nigeria (CYON) of st-Marys Catholic church karu Abuja Nigeria has been added to my record of successful meet-up history book,

Firstly big thanks to the members of Hive account@edusteem for coming through for this meet-up.
Hive account@eugenecr7 who led the team and others :- Hive account@trendingevents, Hive account@sunny4glow, Hive account@farida, Hive account@jimmy9ja.
who were also there for the awareness.

As expected the members of the Hive account@edusteem project received a warm reception from the members of the cyon, and without wasting much time swung into the presentation.
Speaking to these young minds about steemit was one of the easiest things to do because these young sets of youth were very cooperative and thus made the atmosphere very conducive.

The presentation began with Hive account@eugenecr7, in his usually introductory address spoke to the youth of st-Mary about the existence of steemit and further explained steemit as a platform which is hosted on the steem block chain that rewards users for creating and curating content on the platform, in a more simple definition, a platform that pays you for posting and liking people post.

Hive account@sunny4glow in action

Hive account@sunny4glow further share more lights on the need to be self-empowered and reliance hence instead of wasting time on other social media that pays you for nothing why not register on the platform that is ready to pay you for your content.
He gave a clear distinction between other social media and steemit,
Steemit as a platform that reward you for using the platform why other social media gets rewarded for you using the website.
More emphasis was though laid on the need to be original and creative and not copying form other source to paste on your blog.

Hive account@oliverwilliams very briefly talked about content creation on steemit and that steemit is a place where you can post about anything and everything for example video, audio, text, picture and even audiovisual e.t.c.

It was really fun and interesting talking to the youth.
And as usual talking to them was very easy because to us building and sacrificing to the community by recruiting more steemians is our responsibility.
