We came to Vietnam from Philippines and we visited till now two important cities, Ho Chi Minh and Hoi An.
Hoi An is one of the most beautiful places I have seen so far here. I think in part it owes its charm to the little streets filled with great cafes, restaurants and shops, and above them, the lanterns.
This city is also a UNESCO World Heritage site and it's famous for its old town. It was also an important trading port some centuries ago.
I fell in love with lanterns! Such beautiful colors, it really gives the uniqueness of this place. However, I heard that this city some years ago wasn't so touristy and all decorated nicely. Now it's turning into a veritable tourist spot.
