Depression and anxiety is a struggle that ties us down whenever it hits us. Pains and fear is inevitable even those who are strong belivers go through this process in their life. Rather than condemning such emotions, Scripture invites us to bring them honestly before God, trusting that He understands our weakness and cares deeply about our condition.
Coming to God through prayer is one step to overcome this struggle of life. When we open our hearts to Him, we are not just speaking into the air we are placing our burdens into the hands of One who is able to help.
“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7).
We should always embrace God with our problems because he is the only helper which we have on earth. Fellowship with believers, encouragement, and acts of kindness can lift the spirit. God often works through people to bring comfort and strength.
“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18).
