The Bible does not support the idea of reincarnation, which teaches that people are born again into different physical lives after death. Instead, the Bible teaches that each person lives once, dies, and then faces judgment before God.
Hebrews 9:27 says, “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.”
Jesus also spoke about eternal life as something received after this present life through faith in God. When we read about the rich man and Lazarus on the bible, both men died and immediately entered different eternal destinations, not another earthly life. The Bible consistently teaches resurrection, where God raises the dead at the end of time, rather than reincarnation into new bodies and identities.
